Eloise Mae Bryer

|MILO - Eloise M. Bryer, age 77, passed away April 22, 2020 at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor. Eloise was born in Dover-Foxcroft on November 30th, 1942 to William Morris and Elizabeth Morris (Hall). She spent the last three years as a resident of Brewer Rehab facility, where she received wonderful care.|
Eloise worked at Dexter Shoe Co. for more than 30 years. Upon its closing, she went on to receive a medical secretary degree. She worked for Dr. Howard Sleeper, optometrist in Dover until her retirement.
Eloise is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, James; she is also survived by her children, Sharon Taylor (Brownville) Robert Valvo Jr. (Texas), David Valvo (Brownville), Melissa Clingerman (Glenburn), Rodney Bryer (Scarborough), and Dee Douglass (Florida); also surviving her are two sisters, Betty Curtis (Bangor) and Laurie Folsom (Brewer); she is survived by several grandchildren as well as great-grandchildren whom she loved dearly.
Eloise was predeceased by her daughter, Kim Hartmann; infant son Thomas; infant brother Kenneth; brother Danny Hall; as well as her parents.
Eloise was the matriarch of our family. She will be lovingly remembered for her famous peanut butter balls, that were always enjoyed at family gatherings.
Services for Eloise will be scheduled at a later date.
