Clarence Frank MacLeod

Clarence Frank MacLeod, age 80 originally of Milo, Maine son of the late Hartley and Anne (Gerrish) MacLeod, passed away at Mayo Hospital in Dover Foxcroft on August 9, 2017.
“Larry” as he was known, graduated from Milo high school in 1955 and joined the army serving 20 years retiring in 1975. After serving in Fort Devens, MA,Fort Dix, N.J., Stuttgart, Germany, Korea, Thailand and various stateside deployments.
Larry lived with his wife, the late Jane (Rosebush) in Orneville, ME. In his spare time he also was an avid hunter and sportsman.
Larry is survived by his four children, Elizabeth Bryant of Sanford, Me, David MacLeod and his wife Deborah of Palermo, Maine, Amy MacLeod of Fremont, NH and Patricia Coreau of Sanford, Maine, 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Jack MacLeod and his wife the late Alice (Hughes) MacLeod of Milo, Maine and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his sister MaryAnn (MacLeod) Carey and her husband Harry Carey, Jr. and their son Larry’s nephew Jeffrey Carey.
Because of his military service Larry will be buried at the “Maine Vererans’ Memorial Cemetery, 163 Mt. Vernon Rd., Augusta, Me
