Lucy E. Kruck

MILO - Lucy E. Kruck, 101, wife of the late Joseph A. Kruck, died Nov. 16, 2012, at a Bangor healthcare facility. She was born Feb. 22, 1911, in Grand Falls, New Brunswick, the daughter of Patrick and Emma (Albert) Mulherin.

Lucy loved her time spent at the family camp on Boyd Lake and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and crafts. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier and St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Milo. Lucy was very proud to be a recipient of the Boston Cane recognizing her as the oldest resident of Milo.

Lucy is survived by her daughter, Marion Hackett of East Millinocket; three grandchildren, Anne Roundy and her husband, Darrell, of Jay, Joseph Hackett and his wife, Penny, of Otis, and Linda Kinney and her husband, Calvin, of Bangor; five great-grandchildren, Darren Roundy and his wife, Allison, of Jay, Matthew Roundy of Winterport, Amy Hackett of Massachusetts, Michelle Hackett of Lamoine, and Ryan Kinney of Bangor; one great-great-grandchild, Brianne Sumner of Lamoine; two sisters, Patricia Seidler and Brenda Mulherin, both of New Hampshire; and several nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition to her loving husband, Lucy was predeceased by her six brothers, Thomas, David, Alvah, Arthur, John and Patrick; two sisters, Alma and Amelia; and a son-in-law, John. The family wishes to thank Ross Manor and Mayo Regional Hospital for their compassion and excellent care.

A graveside funeral service will be conducted noon Tuesday, Nov. 20, at the family lot, Evergreen Cemetery, Milo, with Deacon Fred Harrigan officiating.
