BROWNVILLE - George A. Richardson, 91, husband of Honorene (Wadman) Richardson, passed away Nov. 24, 2009, at a Dover-Foxcroft nursing home, after a long illness. He was born Oct. 13, 1918, in Medford, to parents, Clarence and Abby (Dyer) Richardson, who predeceased him. George worked as a self-employed truck driver. He was a Mason, loved Schoodic Lake, fishing and hunting, and always had a good tale to tell. He is survived by his wife, Honorene of Brownville; a brother, Clarence Richardson of Bristol, Conn.; a sister, Annie Shirley and her husband, Howard, of Florida; five children, Patricia Hickey and husband, Bob, of Burlington, Conn., George Richardson Jr. of Lakeview Plantation, Eugene Richardson and wife, Laurel, of Hampden, Ernie Livingstone and wife, Judy, of Dover-Foxcroft and Mary Livingstone of Brown-ville; five grandchildren, Lisa Larson of Burlington, Conn., Paul Richardson of Seattle, Michele Richardson of Bangor, Danny Sickler and wife, Billie Jo, of Glenburn and Wade Sickler of Brownville; three great-grandchildren, Jamie Welch and wife, Crystal, of Burlington, Conn., and twins, Cassidy and Jacob Larson of Burlington, Conn.; six great-great-grandchildren, Devon Welch, Shayla Welch, and twins, Brock and Brody Richardson, Raymond Sickler and Faith Sickler; three sisters-in-law, Helen Fowler of Milo, Blanche Wadman of Brownville and Ila Dean of Barnard; many special nieces and nephews. George was predeceased by five brothers, Earlon, Charles, Phillip, Lawrence and Ernest Richardson; and one special granddaughter, Vandi Larson. A memorial service will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 27, at Lary Funeral Home, Milo. All are invited to a reception after the service at Brownville Community Church.
