Rhea A Davis Chase

BROWNVILLE - Rhea A. (Hathorn) Davis Chase, 82, died Nov. 13, 2009, at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. She was born Nov. 27, 1926, in Fairfield, the daughter of Carl Hathorn and Ima (Robinson) Hathorn Strickland. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Wolcott, Conn., and Milo. She is survived by her eight children, Errol E. Davis of Southington, Conn., Eileen Anderson and her husband, David, of Lebanon, Conn., Jewel O'Donnell and her husband, Tim, of Searsport, Anthony Davis and his wife, Cindy, of Brownville Junction, Cheryl Cordani and her husband, Steve, of Plantsville, Conn., Doretta Collar and her husband, Lee, of Meriden, Conn., Wayne Davis and his wife, Katie, of New Britain, Conn., and Kevin Davis and his friend, Paula King, of Brewer. She leaves three sisters and a brother, Pearl Kelleher of Milo, Frances Badger of Derby, Linda Richards of Brownville and Elmer Strickland of Milo; 15 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was predeceased by Errol B. Davis, the father of her children; a brother, Edward Hathorn; and two infant granddaughters. A graveside memorial service will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, in the family lot at North Atkinson Cemetery with Pastor Phil McLaughlin officiating. Friends and family are invited to share fellowship and stories at J. P. Chaisson American Legion Hall, Milo, after the service.
