BROWNVILLE AND BANGOR - Jeanette E. (Hill) Taylor, 72, died June 2, 2009, at a Bangor hospital. She was born Feb. 1, 1937, in Bangor, the daughter of Harry and Edith (Micue) Hill. Jeanette loved embroidering and running the roads. She enjoyed many hot fudge sundaes at McDonald's, and was a self-proclaimed interior decorator and curtain connoisseur. She is survived by her son, Edward Taylor Jr. and his wife, Terri, of Kenduskeag; daughters, Katherine Thomas and her husband, Greg, of Brownville, and Janet Clark and her husband, Alan, of Point, Texas; sister, Dolly Huhn and her husband, Ed, of Plano, Ill.; grandchildren, Kevin, Eric, Sara, Steven, Jason and Rochelle; and great-grandchildren, Carly, Eden, Harmoni, Chole and Emily. In addition to her parents, Jeanette was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Edward Taylor Sr.; and sisters, Charlotte Wickette and Harriet Taylor. Relatives and friends are welcome to call 5-7 p.m. Thursday, June 4, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor. A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, June 5, at Pine Tree Cemetery, Brownville, with the Rev. Fred Dickinson, pastor of East Bangor Community Church, officiating.
