|Port St. Joe, Fl and Milo - Charles "Chuck" Wright II, died August 18, 2007, in Port. St. Joe, FL, where he had recently moved to be close to his family. He was born March 15, 1918, in Medford, NJ, the fourth child of Charles Wright I and Laura (Miller) Wright. After spending his adolescent years in Lyman, Nebraska, Mr. Wright attended college in the mid-west, earning an engineering degree from Tri-State University and pursuing post-graduate studies in chemical engineering at the University of Notre Dame. He became an employee of Joseph E. Seagrams Company, working in Baltimore, MD, Indiana, Pennsylvania and finally, Louisville, Kentucky, where he lived for 52 years. Chuck and his wife of forty years, Becky, were married in Milo in 1946, and often vacationed there to visit with family and friends.|
He is survived by a son, Chuck IV and his wife Deborah of Port St. Joe; a daughter, Martha Sartoris and her husband Robert of Monticello, Minn.; a grandson, Christopher Sartoris and his wife Terri of Plattsburgh, NY; a granddaughter, Katherine Sartoris of St. Paul, Minn; and a brother, J.L. Wright and his wife Ginger of Tomball, Texas. He was predeceased by his wife, Rebecca Gould Wright, who had grown up in Milo, the daughter of Aubrey and Martha (Whalen) Gould; a son, Charles III; and 3 sisters, Doris Walling, Tina Haines, and Louisa Burroughs.
A graveside service will be conducted 11am Friday, August 24, at the family lot in Evergreen Cemetery, Milo. Arrangements are in the care of the Lary Funeral Home, Milo. Messages of condolence and memories may be left at www.laryfuneralhome.com.
