Galen J. Crocker

SEBEC - Galen J. Crocker, 38, died Aug. 10, 2007, of a massive heart attack, at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. He was born Oct. 20, 1968, in Lincoln, the son of Barry W. and Norma (Michaud) Crocker. Galen graduated from Mattanawcook Academy, Lincoln, Class of 1987. He had been a truck driver for many years and he loved his Peterbuilt. Galen loved life and especially the good times spent with his many, many friends. He was loved by everyone who knew him. Galen was a loving father to his three children and will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He will be dearly missed by his best friend and girlfriend, Donna Hayes of Sebec. He is survived by two sons, Austin and Trevor Crocker of Dover-Foxcroft; a daughter, Victoria Raymond of Dover-Foxcroft; his mother, Norma and her husband, David Preble, of Milo; his father, Barry Crocker and wife, Robyn, of West Enfield; his paternal grandmother, Beryle Rideout; a brother, Kevin Crocker of Milo; a half brother, Ernest Rideout, of Lincoln; two stepbrothers, Greg Preble and wife, Tina, of Windham and Tony Preble and wife, Judy, of Milo; three half sisters, Yvonne, Suzanne and Elise, of Lincoln; a niece, Jessica Preble; and a nephew, Clayton Preble. He will also be missed by his dog, "Maggie." Galen was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Cy and Mildred Michaud; his paternal grandparents, Cliff and Mildred Crocker; and a stepbrother, Clayton Preble. A celebration of Galen's life will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 14, at the home of Norma and David Preble, 159 Pleasant River Road, Milo, with Pastor David Mumford officiating.
