Paul V. Flagg

BROWNVILLE JCT. - BROWNVILLE JUNCTION - Paul V. Flagg, 79, husband of Marilyn G. (King) Flagg, died Nov. 29, 2006, at the Maine Veterans' Homes, Bangor. He was born Feb. 5, 1927, in Bangor, the son of Ferd and Emma (Ramsay) Flagg. Paul had served with the merchant marines during World War II. He was a member of the J.P. Chaisson American Legion Post No. 41. Paul was an avid hunter and fisherman, who especially enjoyed being outdoors. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Marilyn of Brownville Junction; four sons, Phillip J. and his wife, Susan, of Brownville Junction, Stephen P. of Casco, Richard D. and his wife, Deborah, of Milo and Darrell P. of Hudson, N.Y.; two daughters, Brenda Roberts and her husband, Edward and Bonnie Waterhouse, all of Brownville Junction; a brother, Phillip and his wife, Connie, of Westfield, Mass.; three sisters, Shirley Mack of Georgia, Beverly Starr of New Hampshire and Jackie Massengill of Washington; six grandchildren, Theresa Lovejoy, Philip Roberts, Tabatha Flagg, Kevin Flagg, Jeremy Flagg and Dylan Flagg; three great-grandchildren, Taylor Lovejoy, Michaela Lovejoy and Angelina Roberts; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Cynthia Keene; and a grandson, Jason Flagg. Friends are invited to call noon Monday, Dec. 4, until time of memorial service 1 p.m. at the Lary Funeral Home, Milo, with Pastor David Mumford officiating. Burial will be in the family lot at Evergreen Cemetery.
