Leon A. Bowdoin

MILO AND BROWNVILLE - Leon A. Bowdoin, 86, died Oct. 18, 2006, at a Bangor hospital. He was born May 26, 1920, in Milo, the son of Charles and Ruth (Clark) Bowdoin. Leon served with the U.S. Army during World War II and had been a lifelong resident of Milo and Brownville. He is survived by two sons, Jon Bowdoin of Ashburnham, Mass., and Leon Bowdoin of Somerset, Mass.; two daughters, Linda Cogliano of Wareham, Mass., and Ruth Balboni of Somerset, Mass.; 11 grandchildren, several great-grand-children, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by three brothers and one sister. Graveside services with military honors will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, at Evergreen Cemetery, Milo.
