Floyd C. Joslyn

BROWNVILLE JCT. - Floyd C. Joslyn, 79, passed away Feb. 10, 2006. He was born May 19, 1926. He worked many years as a woodsman and retired from Brownville Public Works Department. He enjoyed many days on his four-wheeler, going hunting, fishing and looking for deer and turkeys, all after he headed to JD's for a hearty breakfast. He is survived by his children, Gordon, Bonnie, Bette, Lisa and Stacy; his brothers, Maurice, Neil, Robert; and sister, Pauline. He will be remembered by all of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, especially by his "poker buddy," Kristyn. He will also be remembered by all his nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Louise; his son, Stephen; brothers, Gordon, Wendell, Carl, Howard and Donald; and his sisters, Faye and Etta. There will be no funeral services. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Floyd's adventures 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14, at his granddaughter, Angie Wyman's house in Brownville Junction.
