Muriel E. Morrison

MILO - Muriel E. Morrison, 78, wife of the late Robert Morrison, died Dec. 30, 2005, at a Waterville hospital. Mamie, as she was affectionately known by family and friends, was born Jan. 3, 1927 in Carroll, the daughter of Lewis and Dora (Hanscom) Hebb. She and Bob lived a big part of their lives in Massachusetts. They later lived in both Bradford and Milo. She worked as a bookkeeper for PCI in Brownville until her retirement. She then continued with bookkeeping for the Three Rivers Ambulance and the Milo Water District before she fully retired from the work force.
She is survived by a son Wade Morrison and his special friend Mary Natale of Portland, a daughter Lauren Morrison of Waterville, two cousins Lucille and Sandra of Florida, her aunt Lucy Hanscom of Lincoln, a very special brother-in-law Perl Morrison and his wife Josephine of Milo, sister-in-laws Ruth Dunton of Florida, Adeline Richards and her husband Arthur of Bradford, Lena Morrison of Massachusetts, Mary Morrison of Scotland, Betty Celio of Milo, and many special nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brother-in-laws Harold, Donald (Bucky), and Craig Morrison and a sister-in-law Pauline (Honey) Carey.

Spring interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery. Mamie's family would like to thank the entire staff at Inland Hospital in Waterville for the excellent care she received. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Inland Hospital Foundation, 200 Kennedy Memorial Drive, Waterville, Me 04901.
