Addie L. Ladd

DOVER-FOXCROFT - Addie L. Ladd, 84, loving wife of Robert N. Ladd, went to be with her Lord Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2005, at a local nursing home. She was born June 27, 1921, in Milo, the daughter of Bertram and Cora (Weymouth) Hussey. She attended Milo schools. Addie's love for children led her to care for more than 100 children over the years, many of whom have come back as adults with children of their own, to visit her. Addie enjoyed camping on the coast of Maine with her friends and eating Maine lobster. She was a regular part of the MacDonald's breakfast group, a member of the Dover-Foxcroft United Methodist Church and the 3-M Club and had a great love for the youth group of the church. Addie is survived by her husband, Robert of Dover-Foxcroft; three daughters, Patricia Gould and her husband, Ronald, of LaGrange, Joyce Davis and her husband, Armand, of Shirley and Rebecca Reynolds and her husband, Raymond, of Steep Falls; a sister, Erma Ross of Pittsfield; three brothers, Elwood Hussey and his wife, Edith, of Dover-Foxcroft, George Hussey of Milo and Robert Hussey and his wife, Helen, of Milo; six grandchildren, Rodney Breyer of Scarborough, Denise Douglass of Florida, James Herrick of Berwick, Heather Livingstone of Scotland, Emily Reynolds of Long Island, N.Y., and Elizabeth Reynolds of Steep Falls. Addie is also survived by three great-granddaughters and five great-grandsons. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Dover-Foxcroft United Methodist Church, P.O.
