Levi A. Page

BROWNVILLE - Levi A. Page, 84, husband of Ruth (Orff) Page, died Nov. 25, 2004, at an Ellsworth nursing home. He was born May 20, 1920, in Brownville, the son of Edwin S. and Elizabeth (Greene) Page. A graduate of Brownville High School, he had been a Maine Game Warden and had worked for the Town of Brownville. Mr. Page also had been employed by the C-P Railroad, retiring in 1982. He was a member of the Pleasant River Lodge No. 163 AF & AM, and the Brownville Community Church, and he had served as secretary/treasurer for the Brownville Water District. He is survived by a son, Gary and his wife, Debora, of Milo; a daughter, Linda Cote and her husband, Donald, of Mount Desert; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by an infant daughter, Carla, and nine brothers and sisters. Friends are invited to call 6-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3, 2004, with Masonic services said at 7 p.m., at the Lary Funeral Home, Milo, where memorial services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, with the Rev. Rudy Homchuck officiating. A time of fellowship and refreshment will immediately follow at the United Baptist Church of Milo.
