BROWNVILLE JCT. - Lawrence "Larry" D. Perkins, 40, died Dec. 1, 2004, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born Sept. 18, 1964, in Greenville, the son of Millard and Patricia (McAfee) Perkins. He was a graduate of P.C.H.S. in Guilford and worked for O. & R. Lumber in Derby. He attended the Assembly of God Church in Dover-Foxcroft and the United Baptist Church in Milo. He is survived by his father, Millard Perkins and his wife, Norma, of Monson; his mother, Patricia Howard and her husband, Frank, of Dover-Foxcroft; a son, Ian Perkins of Brownville Junction; his paternal grandmother who adopted him, Liz Perkins, of Guilford; two brothers, Terry Perkins and Timothy Perkins and his wife, Bobbie, all of Dover-Foxcroft; a stepbrother, David Wheaton and his wife, Leslie, of Presque Isle; a sister, Malissa Hardy and her husband, David, of Union; stepbrother, Jason Howard of Massachusetts; many aunts, uncles and cousins, nieces and nephews. Friends may call 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, 2004, at the Crosby & Neal Funeral Home, 21 Oak St., Guilford. A graveside service will be held at the Lawn Cemetery in Guilford at a time to be announced. Those who wish may make donations to an educational fund for Larry's son, Ian.
